Wow, Getting ever so close now to starting our 2nd IVF cycle.
Have had a lovely Christmas but have had the flu and then sinusitis. Topped with thrush... I hope to have all this under control for the start of the 2nd round which could be just 5 days away...
Eeeek, nervous about injecting again, but am so excited. All the ladies up the yard have been very supportive offering their help and stuff whenever I need. I plan a good 2 weeks of quiet after EC to rest up for ET and PUPO.
Forgot to give both my sisters their xmas cards this year, just found them and thought I could keep them for next year. BUT I WILL have a new addition to our family by then so wont need those ones, so I binned them :-)
I am going to sit tonight and plan our finances for 2012, so I have no money worries or dramas to contend with, and plan to do a few home improvements over the next couple of months.
Not long now till 2012.... WE WILL HAVE OUR BABY IN 2012

Had a good natter with an old friend last night about how I am feeling coming up to my 2nd round.
I actually feel positive and excited. Cannot wait for my cycle to start. I am planning on loads of rest after ET just in case.
Had a tearful acupuncture session on Thursday, was very sensitive. Now I have got my dates, she has started on the IVF routine. Before hand has just been sorting my meridians out.
Can't wait for Xmas, quiet new year for us and then hit the IVF all rested and chilled

TIA 12th December 3pm
Today Andy and I went for our TIA at Herts & Essex to discuss the plan for our 2nd IVF round.
Our appointment was with a nurse and after signing the usual consent forms, she went to see William to ask about being put on the pill for 21 days to keep my eggs dormant until the injections start so they all grow at the same time. So from today, I started taking Microgynon 30 until 1st January. When then I will start my period and go into the clinic between day 1 and 3 for a scan. I will then pick up my gonal f and start stimming.
It is suggested that I will be given 450ml for a few days to boost the eggs and then go down to 375ml as our last cycle.
Our estimated egg collection will be 20th January 2012, which means we could potentially have a September baby like me...
I am down to 10st 8lb on our scales at home which is just 1lb from my initial target. Having been 11st 13lb last time, I am hopeful this will improve our chances.
