Today Andy and I went for our TIA at Herts & Essex to discuss the plan for our 2nd IVF round.
Our appointment was with a nurse and after signing the usual consent forms, she went to see William to ask about being put on the pill for 21 days to keep my eggs dormant until the injections start so they all grow at the same time. So from today, I started taking Microgynon 30 until 1st January. When then I will start my period and go into the clinic between day 1 and 3 for a scan. I will then pick up my gonal f and start stimming.
It is suggested that I will be given 450ml for a few days to boost the eggs and then go down to 375ml as our last cycle.
Our estimated egg collection will be 20th January 2012, which means we could potentially have a September baby like me...
I am down to 10st 8lb on our scales at home which is just 1lb from my initial target. Having been 11st 13lb last time, I am hopeful this will improve our chances.
I am also due to have my 3rd acupuncture session this Thursday. Again another new tactic this time round.
